I have been fascinated by structures since I was a kid. When I built my first house out of blocks, I realized that this was what I wanted to do in my life. I have been lucky in my career to fulfil my earliest fascinations — now in large-scale projects. Everybody knows that there is a huge difference between a job done out of passion and the one which is just a chore. I go to work with pleasure because I love my job. I love to fix things, expand my interests, learn new techniques, take up challenges and fulfil the projects others are afraid of. All my successes — either when I learned roofing from my father in Poland or, later, when I provided attic conversions — build my skills. It motivates me and gives me strength for other projects.
I am an electrician by trade. I also hold master craftsman's diplomas as a tile fitter and painter/paperhanger. But I have many other skills. I have expertise in roofing, comprehensive interior finish, plumbing, electrical works, tiling, indoor and outdoor painting, plasterboard installation, wallpapering, floor sanding, gluing of wooden floors, and many other works indoors and outdoors, e.g. façade-related works, paving, fencing.
